Daily Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop cloud architecture and lead technical discussions related to security, privacy, and compliance.
- Support migration of on-premise applications and services to Microsoft Azure.
- Lead Azure cloud administration and engineering activities.
- Support cloud infrastructure, networking, security, monitoring, and operational activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor architects and engineering staff.
- Stay current with Microsoft Azure and other cloud-platform technologies.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Cloud Platform experience, including:
- Cloud Security
- Firewalls
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
- Azure Networking
- Operations Management Suite (OMS)
- Blob Storage
- Resource Groups
- Network Security Groups (NSG)
- Application Insights
- SQL Server and SQL DB
- Load Balancers
- 5+ years of AWS Cloud Platform experience, including:
- AWS Cloud
- Cloud Architecture
- AWS Administration
- Resource Allocation
- Cloud Security
- Network Connectivity
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of equivalent professional experience may be substituted for formal education.
Required Certification
Candidate must have a relevant Microsoft Azure certification, including one of the following:
Preferred Skills
- Experience migrating on-premise solutions to cloud environments.
- Experience supporting operational hybrid cloud environments.
