Summary: The role of Security Architect involves providing enterprise-level architectural oversight for a central government client, ensuring alignment with Secure by Design principles and NIST standards. The position requires SC clearance and focuses on integrating security strategies and architectures. The contract is temporary, outside IR35, and delivered on a statement-of-work basis. Candidates must meet residency requirements and be eligible for UK Security Vetting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide enterprise level architectural oversight to cohere, integrate and assure the delivery of the ESA domains.
  • Ensure alignment of security strategy, domain architectures, roadmaps, and control artefacts to Secure by Design principles and NIST CSF and 800 53.
  • Document standards, patterns, and create strategy within the enterprise architecture arena.
  • Bonus knowledge of Archimate and Abacus is preferred.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in enterprise architecture.
  • Knowledge of security strategies and frameworks, particularly NIST CSF and 800 53.
  • Ability to document standards and create architectural strategies.
  • SC clearance eligibility.
  • Familiarity with Archimate and Abacus (bonus).

Security Architect - 5 months+ - Remote - Circa £650 per day outside ir35

Please note: Due to the nature of the project, successful applicants will be required to be SC cleared prior to appointment.

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for an SC cleared Security Architect to join a central government client of theirs.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

Provide enterprise level architectural oversight to cohere, integrate and assure the delivery of the ESA domains.

The role ensures that all security strategy, domain architectures, roadmaps and control artefacts align to Secure by Design principles and NIST CSF and 800 53, and form a single, joined up enterprise security strategy and architecture.

The resource will need to be comfortable in the enterprise architecture arena (setting standards, documenting patterns, creating strategy).

It would be a bonus if they also knew Archimate and Abacus too.

This temporary contract is outside IR35 and will be delivered on a statement-of-work basis. The supplier will determine the method, resources, and approach to deliver the agreed outcomes

This temporary contract requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements. If applicable, reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client.
