Position Summary
Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing, developing, and implementing scalable test automation frameworks from scratch, with a strong focus on Playwright, Selenium, Java, and modern CI/CD practices. This role requires hands-on experience in automation strategy, UI/API testing, performance testing, framework architecture, and test execution within Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks from scratch for web, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, Cypress, and CucumberJS.
- Lead automation initiatives and establish QA best practices, coding standards, and framework governance.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
- Perform comprehensive UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
- Implement distributed test execution solutions to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, automation documentation, reporting, and quality metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong expertise in:

- Java
- Cypress
- CucumberJS
- Proven experience building automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
