Automation Tester (Location is Remote):
Role / Duties:
1. Developing Automated Testing Frameworks: Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
2. Creating Test Scripts: Writing and maintaining automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications.
3. Integration with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment.
4. Executing Test Cases: Running automated test cases to validate software quality, identify defects, and ensure adherence to requirements.
5. Identifying Test Scenarios: Analyzing software requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
6. Maintaining Test Suites: Updating and enhancing automated test suites to accommodate changes in software functionality and requirements.
7. Collaborating with Development Team: Working closely with developers to understand software design and behavior, and address issues identified during testing.
8. Performance Testing: Conducting automated performance tests to assess application performance under various conditions and workloads.
9. Security Testing: Implementing automated security tests to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the security of software applications.
10. Test Reporting and Analysis: Generating test reports, analyzing test results, and communicating findings to stakeholders for decision-making.
11. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Providing training on test automation tools and techniques to team members and sharing best practices for test automation.
12. Maintaining Test Environments: Setting up and maintaining test environments, ensuring consistency and reliability for automated testing.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
2. Test Automation Tools: Experience with Selenium, Appium, or similar tools for automated testing.
3. API Testing: Knowledge of tools like Postman for testing application interfaces.
4. CI/CD Integration: Ability to integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
5. AI Testing: Understanding of AI testing frameworks and tools for testing machine learning models and AI-driven applications.
6. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills for test case design and result interpretation.

8. Minimum 2+ years of experience testing in a cloud environment, Google Cloud Platform preferred. Verification of test conditions using backend systems, running SQL queries, navigating cloud storage objects, and checking service responses using tools like SoapUI.
Additional Required Skills/Experience
A minimum of eight (8) years experience in software development, software quality assurance/control, and/or related field;
A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred;
Able to perform all functional duties independently on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of a given program;
Able to oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job;
Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel;
Extensive knowledge of and experience with formal software testing for complex software applications;
Extensive experience testing software applications, identifying/documenting defects, and working with developers and end users to resolve defects;
Extensive experience with multiple defect tracking tools (e.g. Rational, Mercury);
Extensive experience authoring software-quality-related documentation such as requirements specifications, test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports;
Able to obtain Postal clearance;
Excellent communication skills.
Additional Provisions:
Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
Once candidate s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women. Place and Period of Performance
Hours of support:
The standard work week for contract staff will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day preferable Monday through Friday.
