Summary: This SDET role is part of the Supply Chain Strategic Operations Support (SCSOS) team, responsible for DevSecOps for critical enterprise applications. The position focuses on enhancing quality practices, developing test automation frameworks, and collaborating with engineers to improve platform reliability. Candidates should be passionate about Agile development and quality engineering, aiming to impact the Digital platform's quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate user stories and requirements into effective, maintainable test cases.
  • Develop and support testing of product features throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Zercde, and Postman.
  • Debug applications by analyzing logs, stack traces, and test results, and proactively monitor systems under test to uncover issues.
  • Work closely with development teams to perform root cause analysis and feed findings into automated quality processes.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability across the team.
  • Advocate for a shift-left approach to testing, ensuring quality is embedded early in the development process.
  • Research emerging tools, trends, and methodologies to enhance existing systems and processes.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on testability, functional requirements, and estimates.
  • Own and be accountable for test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting within your Agile scrum team.
  • Analyze and decompose complex software systems to identify opportunities for improved design and test coverage.
  • Collaborate with engineers across teams to share knowledge and propose improvements in automation practices.

This team owns full DevSecOps responsibilities for four enterprise applications critical to supply chain operations and requiring 24x7 availability. This resource will play a key role in shaping quality practices, designing robust test automation frameworks, and collaborating closely with engineers to continuously improve the platforms.
