Our client, a global consultancy, are currently looking to hire a Scrum Master with Active Security Clearance to join the team on a remote working contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide, coach, and mentor the Scrum team and Product Owners on Agile practices, principles, and effectiveness.
  • Ensure the team understands and adheres to Scrum practices and principles.
  • Enable a psychologically safe environment where feedback and continuous improvement are the norm.
  • Foster a culture where the team is empowered, collaborative, and self-organising.
  • Drive the adoption of an Agile mindset across the program of work, ensuring all teams understand and embrace Agile principles and practices.
  • Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Help ensure the product backlog is well-refined, prioritised, and ready for development.
  • Help and collaborate with the team to ensure delivery goals are being met on an iterative and incremental basis
  • Encourage the team to proactively remove impediments to ensure continued delivery.
  • Work with Delivery Leads to track and report on project progress and other relevant metrics.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong experience working in a scaled Scrum environment, coordinating with other Scrum Masters, stakeholders, and teams.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Comfortable working in a complex environment with ambiguous requirements and tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in an Onshore / Offshore model.
  • Deep understanding and experience in multiple Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills and experience.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with Agile project management and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, ADO, Miro, etc).
  • Experience in a scaled Scrum environment (e.g., SAFe, Scrum@Scale, LeSS).
