Summary: The IT Project Manager II / Scrum Lead will manage and lead project teams through various project activities, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. This role involves overseeing scrum processes within Agile methodology, facilitating communication among team members and stakeholders, and ensuring project milestones are met. The position requires a strong understanding of both Waterfall and Scrum project management methodologies, along with effective stakeholder management skills. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead project team in project activities including analysis, design, development, testing, training, implementation, and post-implementation.
- Responsible for managing and monitoring the scrum processes with the coordination of scrum team(s) in Agile Methodology.
- Coordinate, report status, and ensure stability of project-oriented work efforts.
- Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
- Proactively define and implement communications mechanisms that meet the needs of individual team members and project stakeholders at all levels.
- Independently track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project.
- Arrange daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demo, and decision-making processes.
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
CSM desired (or comparable PM certification).
