Key Responsibilities:
- Keeps stakeholders informed of progress and negotiates adjustments to schedules and resources.
- Functions as the central point for all project communications.
- Develops and delivers presentation content for team and project sponsors.
- Identifies and facilitates acquiring project sponsors and stakeholder groups.
- Collaborates with project teams to organize EDP releases.
- Identifies and analyzes project risks and manages issues proactively.
- Develops project work breakdown structures and manages project schedules.
- Develops and tracks project budgets and forecasts.
Key Skills:

Looking for an EDW Scrum Master/PM
We have an immediate need for an IS Sr Project Manager / Scrum. The IS Sr Project Manager / Scrum Master works under minimal supervision to plan, direct and coordinate activities of large, long-term, inter-departmental infrastructure or development project(s) to ensure goals and objectives of the project(s) are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and budgetary parameters.
Candidates must have recent, real-world agile project management experience.
Responsibilities:
Communication and Presentation
- Keeps stakeholders, including management, informed of progress to goal; negotiate adjustments to the schedule and resources to ensure overall quality of completed project
- Functions as central point for all project communications
- Leverages most effective means of communication based on situation/urgency
- Develops and delivers presentation content to drive understanding and alignment across Team and Project Sponsors (Governance structure)
Establishes Effective Project Governance
- Identifies and facilitates acquiring a Sponsor role that is executed at the appropriate level of the organization
- Identifies and facilitates acquiring a Steering Group that is supporting/influencing the Sponsor while representing cross-functional perspective with common project goals
- Identifies and facilitates acquiring a Stakeholder Group that represents and can influence project direction and deliverables
Release Management
- Collaborates with multiple project teams to organize EDP releases according to the department process.
- Works to create release notes that are consistent with release scope and content.
- Ensure validate steps are planned and executed.
- Participates to ensure communications are flowing as needed, both internally and with Product Owners.
Risk Management
- Identifies & analyzes project risks to determine highest potential risk exposure that should be proactively managed
- Identifies & focuses resolution of issues and risks using appropriate levels of escalation considering impact to scope, schedule, budget or quality.
Project Detail and Schedules
- Develops a project work breakdown structure
- Develops and manages a project schedule/timeline using approved Project Management tools (WorkOtter, Jira, SharePoint, etc.)
- Develops, monitors, and manages the project staffing plan and resource allocations approved by resource managers
- Determines Resource Assignments with task estimates (ETC's)
- Use negotiation skills to balance completing work with resources needed to achieve project success
Project Financials
- Develops a project budget and track actual and forecasts weekly
- Manage project budget in Excel and Work Otter for financials and resource allocation
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on project management & Scrum Master skills - at least 5 years of experience managing complex IT efforts.
- Management of large teams with members working in multiple locations.
- Experience structuring work into various workstreams within a large project and managing multiple IT projects concurrently.
- Strong applied use of PM & Scrum tools/techniques (planning, risk management, budgeting, cost control, assessment, software/SaaS acquisition/RFP, develop & management of Jira board, Scrum ceremonies, etc.).
- Experience with vendor contracts and vendor management.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), English-language skills, facilitation skills, etc. and ability to represent work at all levels of the organization (up to Executive levels).
- Excellent people skills developing strong relationships, building a trusting team environment, and ability to listen & translate into actionable plans.
Experience with the following is desired, but not mandatory:
- Cloud Data Platforms in support of Marketing, Customer Analytics & Personalization in an omni-channel retail environment.
- WorkOtter, Jira, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Understand business process transformation and change management practices.
