Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Coach the team on agile principles, ensuring adherence to Scrum methodology.
- Drive timely delivery of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data platform enhancements.
- Track sprint progress, manage dependencies, and escalate risks proactively.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Architects, and Client Executives to align priorities.
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes in a clear, client-ready manner.
- Remove blockers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Encourage collaboration between data engineers, QA, DevOps, and compliance teams.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise compliance, licensing, and data security standards.
- Support documentation and audit readiness for client-facing deliverables.
Key Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or equivalent agile certification.
- Proven experience (8+ years) as a Scrum master in data engineering or analytics projects.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL, Azure Synapse, data modelling.
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage client-facing communication with executive stakeholders.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise projects with distributed teams.
- Knowledge of automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical mindset with focus on process excellence and operational efficiency.
- Empathetic leadership style that motivates and recognizes team contributions.
