Summary: We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with over 10 years of experience to lead Agile teams and ensure effective project delivery. The candidate should possess a strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching teams, and managing project backlogs. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guide teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments and ensure the team remains focused on sprint goals.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the backlog.
- Foster communication between developers, QA, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Track and report on team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown).
- Mentor and coach team members to increase Agile maturity.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and delivery timelines.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant-leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally, Trello).
- Proven ability to work with multiple teams and manage dependencies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
