Summary: The role of Technical Scrum Master focuses on facilitating Agile delivery within a global platform engineering team, emphasizing a strong technical background and strategic influence. This position requires collaboration with engineers to address technical challenges and drive complex cloud initiatives, including migrations and platform development. The ideal candidate will possess Agile certifications and experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure. This is a fully remote position available to candidates in the UK only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile delivery across global engineering teams using Scrum and Kanban.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to understand technical challenges and influence platform strategy.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation; Product Owner experience is highly desirable.
- Drive delivery of complex cloud initiatives, including AWS-to-Azure migration and platform development.
- Coach teams, remove impediments, and foster alignment across stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Agile Certifications: SAFe and/or other scaled Agile frameworks.
- Qualified Scrum Master (additional Product Owner/Product Manager certifications preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Agile tooling (VersionOne, Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub Projects).
- ITIL 4 Foundation (or higher) with experience integrating Agile workflows with ServiceNow.
- Technical Background: Experience working closely with public cloud engineering teams (Microsoft Azure preferred).
- Understanding of cloud migration, platform engineering, and enterprise-scale architecture.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
