Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Scrum Master with Technical Business Analyst skills to support a Data Engineering delivery team. This role bridges business requirements, technical delivery, and Agile execution, ensuring high-quality data products are delivered efficiently and aligned to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Remove impediments and support predictable delivery
- Coach teams on Agile practices tailored for data engineering
- Partner with Product Owners on backlog prioritization and refinement
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for data engineering initiatives
- Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and data specifications
- Support data ingestion, transformation, governance, and analytics requirements
- Maintain traceability between business outcomes and delivered solutions
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Support delivery planning, dependency management, and reporting
- Contribute to RAID logs and governance forums
Key Skills:
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst on data engineering projects
- Experience writing technical user stories and acceptance criteria
- Certified Scrum Master (desirable)
- Understanding of ETL/ELT, data platforms, and cloud technologies (desirable)
- Experience in regulated environments (desirable)
- Familiarity with data governance tools (desirable)
- Experience working in financial services or regulated environments (desirable)
- Knowledge of data governance or metadata tools (desirable)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
