SCM Cleared Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure

Job Description

Looking for an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer with strong Azure and Azure DevOps experience to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and platform solutions.

The role is at a G7 level at the Home Office.

The successful candidate must be eligible for SC Clearance, be comfortable working independently, and have experience operating within large, multi-supplier delivery environments.

Experience with the Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous.

Essential Technical Skills

• Azure or AWS skills
• Networking, security, monitoring, and alerting
• Experience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Functions
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Vnets, Private endpoints

Infrastructure as Code

• Terraform
• ARM Templates

Azure DevOps

• Azure Boards, Repos, Artifacts, and Pipelines
• Creation and maintenance of YAML pipelines
• Security, governance, and platform administration

Scripting & Automation

• Python
• PowerShell

Desirable Technical Skills

• Microsoft Power Platform
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience deploying and supporting Power Platform solutions and Dynamics 365 environments

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience working in Agile delivery teams and CI/CD environments
• Ability to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions
• Understanding of how logical solution designs translate into infrastructure implementations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to collaborate effectively within large, multi-supplier teams and complex delivery environments
