Summary: The Power Apps Test Engineer role involves working with a digital agency to support a government agency's transition from a legacy platform to Power Apps. The position requires planning, creating, and executing manual tests to ensure the quality and reliability of a customized Microsoft Dynamics solution. The contract is for an initial three months with potential for extension, and the role is fully remote. Candidates must hold valid SC Clearance and have significant experience in manual testing and Power Apps solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and execute manual tests for a customized Microsoft Dynamics solution.
- Ensure quality, reliability, and delivery of user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with a tight team dynamic to meet project goals.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in manual testing.
- ISTQB Certification Foundation or equivalent.
- Understanding of GDS.
- Extensive accessibility testing experience.
- Significant experience of testing Power Apps solutions.
- Familiarity with JIRA & Xray for JIRA.
- Hands-on experience with API testing & tooling.
- Experience working in a Scrum methodology.
- Highly delivery focused with the ability to learn quickly.
- Experience in UK public sector projects.

iO are working with an established and rapidly growing Digital agency in their search for an experienced Power apps Tester to join them on an initial 3 month contract basis
They work with global technology leaders to provide digital transformation services to a number of customers in industries including not-for-profit, financial services and the pubic sector
This specific project is supporting a Gov agency who are transitioning from a Legacy platform to Power Apps
You will be responsible for planning, creating and executing manual tests to ensure quality, reliability and delivery of user stories and acceptance criteria for a highly customised Microsoft Dynamics solution.
Must have experience in testing one or more of the following:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in manual testing
- ISTQB Certification Foundation (as a minimum) or equivalent
- Understanding of GDS
- Extensive accessibility testing experience
- Significant experience of testing Power Apps solutions
- Familiar with test and bug management tools in use on the project (JIRA & Xray for JIRA)
- Hands-on experience with API testing & tooling
- Experience working in a Scrum methodology
- Highly delivery focused, with the ability to learn quickly and fit into a tight team dynamic
- Experience working in UK public sector projects, carrying out testing activities
