Summary: The role of Azure Solution Architect involves designing and implementing secure cloud solutions for a high-profile programme in the UK policing and public safety sector. The position requires active SC and NPPV3 clearance and focuses on aligning cloud solutions with national law enforcement priorities. The architect will leverage deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services and engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance with public sector security frameworks. This is a remote position with a contract length of 6 months, likely to be extended.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Engage with stakeholders to align solutions with national law enforcement priorities.
- Ensure compliance with public sector security and compliance frameworks.
- Document architecture and solutions effectively.
- Integrate hybrid cloud and on-premises solutions as needed.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Cloud Solution Architecture.
- Active SC and NPPV3 security clearance.
- Experience working with UK police forces or law enforcement agencies.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, Azure AD, Key Vault, Networking).
- Strong understanding of public sector security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NCSC, PSN, CJSM).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
- Desirable TOGAF and Azure Architecture certifications (e.g., AZ-305).
- Experience with hybrid cloud/on-prem integrations.
- Knowledge of M365, Sentinel, or other Microsoft security tooling.
