Summary: The SC Lead Application and Integration Engineer role involves leading a small team of application support engineers, focusing on service management and development within InterSystems HealthShare and HealthConnect. The position is predominantly remote with occasional site visits required, and candidates must hold or have held high-level security clearance. The contract is full-time, running until September 2025, with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of application support engineers.
- Manage service delivery within a large organization.
- Develop and maintain applications using InterSystems HealthShare and HealthConnect.
- Work in an Agile environment as part of an Agile team.
- Utilize ITIL processes for service management.
- Oversee application management within Azure environments.
- Collaborate with team members using tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
Key Skills:
- Experience in leading application support teams.
- Knowledge and preferably certification in ITIL processes.
- Development experience in InterSystems HealthShare and HealthConnect.
- Understanding of EMPI, PD, Integration engine, and IRIS.
- Experience with Azure, Microsoft .Net, Ansible, and Terraform is preferable.
- Ability to work in an Agile manner.
- Familiarity with Jira and/or Azure DevOps is a plus.

Previous experience and skill set:
-Experience of running a small team of app support engineers
-Demonstrable knowledge and preferably certification in ITIL processes.
-Experience of service management within a large organisation
-Essential - experience of development in InterSystems HealthShare and HealthConnect with a strong understanding of EMPI, PD, Integration engine and IRIS.
-Preferable - experience of development with Azure, Microsoft .Net, Ansible, Terraform
-Experience of application management within Azure environments.
-Ability to work in an Agile way as part of an Agile team.
-Nice to have - experience of Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
