Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enable VMware vDefend Advanced Threat Protection features

VMware vDefend Firewall Architect (Contract)

Our client, a well-established VMware Partner and professional services organisation, is seeking an experienced VMware vDefend Firewall Architect to support a major security transformation programme within a large enterprise environment.

Role & Responsibilities

You will be part of an expert consulting team delivering two key workstreams:

Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)

  • Design and enable VMware vDefend Advanced Threat Protection features

  • Support IDS/IPS policy enablement and tuning

  • Assist with malware prevention configuration and optimisation

  • Develop threat scenarios and advanced detection use cases

  • Support threat assessment, investigation, and evidence-chain analysis

  • Assist with testing, validation, and Day 2 operational activities

VMware vDefend Firewall (DFW)

  • Assist with deployment of the vDefend Firewall platform
