Summary: We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for a global client. The role involves close collaboration with developers, enhancing performance, and mentoring team members while delivering first-level support to customers. This position is fully remote and requires on-call availability for maintenance duties. The successful candidate must hold valid UK SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless application deployment and cloud operations.
• Enhance performance and resolve complex technical issues through investigation and testing.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities to ensure the best solutions are implemented.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Act as a key technical consultant, collaborating with senior stakeholders and internal teams.
• Deliver first-level support to customers when required.

• Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins & AWS (actively used in the last 2 years).
• Automation & Configuration Management: RedHat, Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Linux SysAdmin expertise.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Cloud Networking & Security: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, security best practices.
• CI/CD Deployment Experience.
• Monitoring & Logging: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
• AWS Expertise: EC2, EKS, RDS, Aurora, networking, cost optimization.
