Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain user-facing web applications that sit on top of DIAS/Fabric data.
  • Implement a high-quality medallion architecture and STAR schemas for data matching.
  • Develop features for granular cross-database searches.
  • Create secure, performant backend APIs and services for intuitive data interaction.
  • Implement front-end features, visualisations, and workflows for various users.

Key Skills:

Role: Full Stack Developer

Client: Central government department

Day rate: £500 - £550 INSIDE IR35

Mainly remote with only occasional travel to London

ASAP Start to 31 March 2026

Ideal candidate will hold active Security Clearance and be immediately available or with a one week notice

Key Deliverables (Full Stack Developer for DIAS on Fabric)

  • Design, build and maintain user-facing web applications that sit on top of DIAS/Fabric data, using a range of frameworks to support the technical needs of the project
  • Be responsible for implementing, along with other engineers, a high quality medallion architecture and STAR schemas to enable matching of data across sources.
  • Develop features where requested to enable users to make highly granular cross database searches
  • Develop secure, performant backend APIs and services to enable intuitive interaction with DIAS’ underlying data and LLM capabilities
  • Implement front-end features, visualisations and workflows for analysts, policy teams and operational users
  • Integrate with Microsoft Fabric (e.g. Lakehouse, Warehouses, Power BI, LLM endpoints) and other client systems
  • Implement authentication/authorisation/RBAC and apply client security and data access rules in the UI and APIs and front ends
  • Build UI components to support LLM use cases (chat interfaces, prompt tools, feedback capture, evaluation dashboards)
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests and monitoring for front-end and back-end services
