Summary: The role of SC Cleared DevOps Engineer focuses on leveraging Apigee expertise to enhance development and operations through workflow automation and CI/CD pipeline optimization. This initial 6-month contract position is remote and requires SC clearance. The engineer will be responsible for developing and monitoring cloud solutions, managing infrastructure, and integrating APIs into CI/CD pipelines. Proven skills in AWS, Python, and API security are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and monitor cloud solutions using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, S3)
  • Managing infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and collaborating across teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
  • Integrate APIs into CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Design and manage APIs using Apigee Edge and X, driving strategy, support, and insights to optimize integration and documentation

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in AWS (ECS, ECR, Fargate), Python, Node.js, and Docker
  • Skilled in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Strong grasp of distributed systems, API security (OAuth, API keys, JWT), and Apigee/APIM platforms
  • Experienced in building enterprise applications, designing scalable APIs, and generating custom analytics
  • SC Cleared (essential)

We're looking for a SC Cleared DevOps Engineer with Apigee expertise to bridge development and operations, focusing on workflow automation, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and reliable software delivery.

As an DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop, deploy, and monitor cloud solutions using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, S3)
  • Managing infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and collaborating across teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
