SC Cleared Cloud Security Architect

Summary: The SC Cleared Cloud Security Architect role is a contract position focused on evaluating and validating the security architecture of a client's cloud platform. The architect will ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks while identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies. This fully remote role requires active SC clearance and significant experience in cloud security architecture. The position offers a competitive day rate and involves occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and validate the security architecture of the client's cloud platform and associated migration strategies
• Ensure alignment with organisational security standards, frameworks, and best practices
• Identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure
• Provide expert guidance on secure solution design and support teams throughout implementation

Key Skills:

• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• 5+ years' in cloud security architecture
• Security Compliance (NIST, NCSC, GDPR etc.)
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (nice to have)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement & communication skills
