Summary: The Azure Network Engineer will focus on designing, deploying, and securing Azure networking solutions in a secure cloud environment, ensuring compliance with client security and governance standards. This role requires expertise in various Azure networking components and the ability to implement secure connectivity solutions. The position is remote and is expected to last for six months. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Azure virtual networks, routing, and subnet architectures
  • Configure secure connectivity using VPN, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall
  • Implement secure application networking using NSGs, ASGs, WAFs, Firewall Policies, and Private Endpoints
  • Support secure environment preparation for PEN Testing and ITHC activities
  • Deploy network infrastructure using Terraform
  • Troubleshoot routing, connectivity, DNS, and Firewall issues
  • Produce network diagrams, architecture documentation, standards, and runbooks

Role Overview

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and securing Azure networking solutions within a secure cloud environment aligned to client security and governance standards.
