SC Cleared Architect

Summary: The role is for an SC Cleared Architect on a 6-month contract, requiring active security clearance and deep expertise in SAS. The position is remote and focuses on setting up and configuring SAS environments, along with data integration architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAS architecture and governance in data platform delivery. An ASAP start is expected for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a SAS guru/SME/technical authority.
• Set up and configure SAS environments from an architecture and platform perspective.
• Understand SAS architecture, administration, and enterprise deployment models.
• Design ETL and data integration architecture.
• Integrate with enterprise database platforms, particularly Oracle.
• Support networking infrastructure for enterprise analytic platforms.
• Provide monitoring and operational support for data and analytics environments.
• Address governance, risk, and compliance considerations in data platform delivery.

Key Skills:

• Active SC Clearance.
• Deep expertise in SAS.
• Strong experience in SAS environment setup and configuration.
• Solid understanding of SAS architecture and enterprise deployment models.
• Experience with ETL design and data integration architecture.
• Knowledge of Oracle and enterprise database integration.
• Understanding of networking infrastructure.

• Strong grasp of governance, risk, and compliance in data delivery.
• Experience with SAS Viya (desirable).
• Exposure to cloud-hosted analytics environments (desirable).
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture practices (desirable).

Salary (Rate): £600 Daily
