SC Cleared Architect

Summary: The role is for an SC Cleared Architect on a 6-month contract, requiring deep expertise in SAS and the ability to act as a technical authority. The position is remote and offers a daily rate of £600, classified as inside IR35. An ASAP start is expected for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a SAS guru/SME/technical authority.
• Set up and configure SAS environments from an architecture and platform perspective.
• Understand SAS architecture, administration, and enterprise deployment models.
• Design ETL and data integration architecture.
• Integrate with enterprise database platforms, particularly Oracle.
• Support networking infrastructure for enterprise analytic platforms.
• Provide monitoring and operational support for data and analytics environments.
• Address governance, risk, and compliance considerations in data platform delivery.

Key Skills:

• Active SC Clearance.
• Deep expertise in SAS.
• Strong experience in SAS environment setup and configuration.
• Solid understanding of SAS architecture and enterprise deployment.
• Experience with ETL design and data integration.
• Knowledge of Oracle and enterprise database integration.
• Understanding of networking infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring and operational support models.
• Strong grasp of governance, risk, and compliance in data delivery.
• Experience with SAS Viya (desirable).
• Exposure to cloud-hosted analytics environments (desirable).
