Required Skills & Experience
- Strong SAS Base programming experience.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Hands-on QA/testing experience, including test planning, test case development, execution, defect management, and documentation.
- Experience testing ETL processes, reporting, and data integrations.
- Ability to interpret business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Experience using Jira, TestRail, or comparable defect/test-management tools.
- Working knowledge of Linux.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently investigate issues and ask effective clarifying questions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience presenting testing results and recommendations to customers and project stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively while operating independently with minimal guidance once onboarded.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, along with appropriate professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Medicaid data.
- Experience with SAS Visual Analytics (VA), SAS Viya, and/or SAS Studio.
- Strong ETL testing background.
- SAS 9.4 Base Programmer Certification.
