Summary: As a SAS BI and Analytics professional, you will join an Agile team focused on developing healthcare applications and implementing new features while adhering to coding standards. The role requires extensive experience in SAS programming and Databricks, along with a strong understanding of the healthcare payer domain. You will be responsible for migrating SAS programs, managing SAS content, and optimizing data pipelines. Collaboration with various teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance is also a key aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and convert complex SAS programs into Databricks notebooks using SQL, PySpark, or other supported languages.
  • Ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability of migrated solutions.
  • Manage SAS libraries, macros, and stored processes.
  • Extract and document lineage, dependencies, and metadata from SAS content to support migration and governance.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and analytics workflows in Databricks.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to align with enterprise data strategies.
  • Work with claims, eligibility, provider, and member data.
  • Apply domain knowledge to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and relevance to business needs.
  • Partner with business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Document processes, lineage, and technical specifications for audit and knowledge sharing.
