SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant

Requirement

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA to assess, optimize, and enhance the existing SAP TM implementation and support its rollout across multiple regions and plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the existing Phase I SAP TM implementation and identify opportunities for improvement and additional functionality.
• Assess business requirements and recommend SAP TM enhancements and optimization strategies.
• Evaluate the feasibility of rolling out SAP TM to additional regions and plants, considering variations in business processes and plant-specific requirements.
• Analyze and configure the Post Processing Framework (PPF), condition techniques, and BOPF node structures.
• Support integrations between SAP TM and SAP SD, MM, and LES/EWM.
• Manage EDI/XML output configurations and troubleshoot related integration issues.
• Prepare the proposed implementation scope, effort estimates, resource requirements, and project timeline.
• Develop a phased implementation and rollout strategy, including testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP TM in an S/4HANA environment.
• Expertise in Post Processing Framework (PPF), condition techniques, and BOPF node structures.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP SD, MM, and LES/EWM.
• Knowledge of EDI/XML outputs and related integration processes.
• Experience in SAP TM implementation, enhancement, optimization, and regional rollouts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and estimation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Project Objective

Assess and enhance the existing SAP TM implementation, identify opportunities for additional functionality, and develop a detailed scope, effort estimate, and implementation approach for a multi-region rollout while accounting for plant-specific requirements.
