SAP Transportation Management Consultant

Summary: The SAP Transportation Management Consultant role involves gathering requirements from business process owners and utilizing SAP Best Practices to configure and document transportation management solutions. The consultant will also be responsible for planning workshops, managing requirements, and ensuring integration with various systems. This position requires extensive experience with S/4 and advanced transportation functionalities. The role is remote and operates on a W2 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• STM’s SAP Best Practice
• Work Stream requirement gathering with the business process owners fill in the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire.
• Plan/build Workshop A (System Demo and Presentation Deck) based on assessment answers, including:
1. Requirements Management
2. Configuration and Documentation
3. Key Decision Documentation
4. Process Flows
5. Authorization and Security
6. Test planning (Standard and Custom objects)
7. Change Management
8. Reporting
• S/4 Experience
• A&D Experience
• Experience with Transportation and Advanced Transportation in S/4
• Freight Units and Freight Orders
• Integration with ShipERP for small parcel management
• Carrier integration
• Integration with Warehouse Management (EWM), GTS and Dangerous Goods
• Route Determination
• Integration with external Warehouse systems (3PL)

Key Skills:

• Experience with SAP Transportation Management
• Knowledge of S/4 and Advanced Transportation functionalities
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
• Experience with integration systems such as ShipERP and Warehouse Management
• Ability to manage change and conduct testing
• Understanding of freight management processes
