  • Enable CI/CD, change impact analysis, and release automation using automated transport management tools and Git-based deployment controls.
  • Serve as the central technical liaison across engineering, operations, governance, and external vendors, resolving technical alignment challenges.
  • Manage emergency change approvals and enforce strict process discipline within structured ITSM frameworks (e.g., ServiceNow).

Key Skills:

  • 15–20+ years of proven experience in SAP technical delivery, Basis operations, and enterprise architecture.
  • Deep expertise in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and SAP Solution Manager.

Engagement Overview
We are seeking a highly proactive, self-starting Senior SAP Technical Architect for a long-term contract engagement. This role focuses on hands-on technical delivery, landscape architecture, and enterprise change governance. The successful consultant will oversee SAP Basis operations, manage complex environment strategies, and drive the modernization of our change and release pipelines.

Core Responsibilities
Technical Architecture & Basis Oversight: Manage complex SAP landscapes ($N+1 / N+2$), define environment strategies, and lead technical cutover planning. Author and present environment architecture options to leadership.
Release Governance & Change Control: Drive end-to-end change management, leading major deployment cycles, monthly releases, and emergency production migrations. Facilitate cross-team readiness forums and risk mitigation reviews.
Pipeline Modernization & Automation: Enable CI/CD, change impact analysis, and release automation. Work with automated transport management tools and Git-based deployment controls to modernize delivery pipelines.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the central technical liaison across engineering, operations, governance, and external vendors (including SAP). Resolve technical alignment challenges and clarify environment/data ownership models.
Governance & Compliance: Manage emergency change approvals and enforce strict process discipline within structured ITSM frameworks (e.g., ServiceNow).
