Summary: The role of SAP Supply Chain Architect focuses on leading architecture strategy and solution design for the Supply Chain Sourcing & Procurement domain. The position requires extensive experience in supplier engagement, sourcing, and procurement transformation, particularly with Ariba and Source-to-Pay processes. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise and technical leadership to deliver enterprise-grade solutions in global supply chain operations. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture strategy and solution design for Supply Chain Sourcing & Procurement.
- Deliver enterprise-grade solutions across global supply chain and retail operations.
- Engage in supplier engagement, sourcing, and procurement transformation.
- Manage supplier lifecycle including onboarding, qualification, performance monitoring, and risk management.
- Implement sourcing & contracts modules as part of the Source-to-Pay business process.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier Engagement.
- Proven experience with Supplier and Contracts Management.

Qualifications/Experience
Candidates MUST have experience with Supplier, Contracts Management, Supplier Engagement/Source-to-Pay (S2P) and MUST have implemented a sourcing & contracts module (part of source to pay business process, not just worked on P2P.
Candidates MUST have worked on Ariba, Source-to-Pay Sourcing, Supplier Selection, and Contracts Management all the process before the Procure to Pay process.
10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
8+ years of hands-on experience in Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier Engagement within global supply chain environments.
Proven track record in supplier lifecycle management, including onboarding, qualification, performance monitoring, and risk management.
Candidates must have Ariba experience - highly preferred.
Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of supplier engagement models, sourcing strategies, and procurement operations.
Expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, including sourcing events, contract lifecycle management, purchasing, invoicing, and supplier collaboration.
