Summary: The SAP Specialist role involves providing expert support in SAP Production Planning for a large UK Aerospace company on a 6-month contract basis. The position requires the candidate to design and develop solutions, manage third-party suppliers, and support data migration projects while ensuring compliance with security clearance requirements. The role is remote and classified as inside IR35, with a pay rate of up to £55 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as the subject matter expert in SAP Production Planning.
- Provide professional advice and recommendations to support business queries and requirements definition.
- Design and develop business/process enhancing solutions within SAP.
- Deliver early life support for new solutions and established in-house developed solutions.
- Add value to existing business processes/procedures by improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in the management of third-party and internal suppliers.
- Support data migration projects as required.
- Deliver projects from design to completion to achieve required business outputs.
Key Skills:
- Experience in SAP S4, specifically in SAP-PP, SAP-MM, and SAP-QM.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with key project stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to support reasoning with data.
- Capability to challenge and respond to process issues.
- Experience in facilitating incident and problem resolution.
- Prioritization skills to meet Service Level Agreements.
- Coordination and supervision of team members' activities.
- Ownership and resolution of complex technical problems within specialty.
