Summary: The role involves hiring an SAP Techno Functional (SD MM) consultant who will act as a subject matter expert for integration activities within SAP systems. The consultant will be responsible for gathering requirements, configuring SAP SD and MM, and ensuring seamless integration with non-SAP systems. The position is remote with occasional travel in Europe and is expected to last long-term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as SAP SD/MM subject matter expert for integration activities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Design and support SAP interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, ALE, etc.)
- Configure SAP SD and MM
- Collaborate with ABAP, middleware, and external system teams
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems
- Troubleshoot order-to-cash and procure-to-pay integration issues
- Support data mapping, migration, and reconciliation efforts
- Perform end-to-end testing and validate data flows
- Create documentation for configurations, specs, and test scenarios
- Provide hypercare and knowledge transfer post-go-live
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD/MM experience
- Strong functional knowledge of OTC and P2P processes
- Proven techno-functional experience (configuration + technical design)
- Deep understanding of SAP integration tools: IDoc, BAPI, RFC, ALE
- Experience working with middleware (SAP PI/PO, CPI, EDI, etc.)
- Ability to translate business needs into functional/technical specs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Location: Remote (occasional EU travel at Key Milestones)
Based in Europe
Start: ASAP
Duration: long-term (6 months + 12 months onwards)
Rate: 400 - 500 EUR per day (negotiable, please share your best)
Act as SAP SD/MM subject matter expert for integration activities
