Project Overview

Join the global SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation program “SyWay” for a major client in the chemical industry. A key part of the transformation is to ensure the Sales & Distribution (SD) stream is supported by clean, structured, and fully validated transactional and output-related data.

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented SAP SD Data Specialist to manage data activities related to sales orders, quotations, output settings, and legacy attachments. You will coordinate closely with business stakeholders and SD consultants to ensure data is captured, transformed, and loaded in line with process expectations.

You’ll be working with the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP) for all data-related tasks, ensuring successful delivery throughout the migration waves and cutover activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the extraction, transformation, validation, and migration of SD transactional and output data.
• Collaborate with SD functional teams to align data with process configurations and output rules.
• Work with business teams to capture and validate long texts and attachments related to open transactions.
• Use the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP) to perform all migration-related activities.
• Support testing, cutover, and hypercare with a focus on data completeness and output accuracy.
• Act as the communication bridge between sales process owners and the technical migration team.

Scope of SD Data Objects

The SD Data Specialist will be responsible for:

• Output Determination for Application V1/V3
• OPD – Email Address for Sales-Related Output
• Open Quotations with Long Text (including customized fields)
• Open Sales Contracts with Long Text (including customized fields)
• Attachments for Open Sales Transactions (to be validated for technical feasibility)

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP SD data and sales process migration, including transactional and output-related elements.
• Familiarity with Output Determination in SAP S/4HANA (Application V1/V3) and Output Parameter Determination (OPD).
• Understanding of handling long text, custom fields, and potential document attachments in legacy-to-SAP migrations.
• Hands-on experience with data migration tools—preferably the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).
• Ability to work across global teams and coordinate between business and technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English; strong communication and remote collaboration skills.
