Role Overview
Hands-on architect to lead SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning & Forecasting design and delivery for a client implementation.
Owns the planning solution end-to-end — model design, forecast cycles, data integration — and sets technical direction for the build team.
Adjacent expertise in S/4HANA Group Reporting, Datasphere, BDC, and BPC is a strong plus.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead SAC Planning architecture: planning models, dimensions/hierarchies, data actions, allocations, advanced formulas, predictive forecasting.
- Own solution design and sign-off; translate FP&A requirements into build-ready specs.
- Design forecast cycles (rolling forecasts, driver-based planning, versioning).
- Define integration into S/4HANA, Datasphere, and source systems (import/live connections, data flows).
- Provide architectural governance — review builds, enforce best practices, tune performance.
- Act as primary SAC technical authority with stakeholders; mentor the build team.
- (Plus) Support adjacent areas as needed: S/4HANA Group Reporting, BDC, SAP BPC.
Required Skills
- Deep SAP Analytics Cloud Planning & Analytics (models, stories, data actions, allocations, advanced formulas, predictive).
- Strong FP&A / forecasting domain knowledge (budgeting, rolling forecasts, driver-based planning).
- S/4HANA finance data structures and SAC integration.
- Lead or architect experience on SAC implementations.
