SAP S/4HANA SD DMC & Syniti Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD Consultant with strong functional expertise in Sales & Distribution and hands-on experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC) and Syniti.

The consultant will be responsible for supporting S/4HANA transformation and data migration initiatives, including data analysis, mapping, cleansing, transformation, migration, validation, reconciliation, testing, and cutover activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD).
• Support S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration, and transformation projects.
• Configure and support core SAP SD processes including:
• Sales Order Management
• Quotation Management
• Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Pricing and Conditions
• Delivery Processing
• Shipping
• Billing and Invoicing
• Returns
• Credit/Debit Processing
• Customer Master / Business Partner
• Analyze legacy SAP/non-SAP SD data and prepare it for migration to S/4HANA.
• Design and execute data migration activities using SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC).
• Develop and maintain data migration mappings, transformation rules, and validation criteria.
• Work with Syniti for data extraction, profiling, cleansing, transformation, mapping, migration, and validation.
• Support migration of SD master and transactional data, including:
• Customer / Business Partner
• Material Master
• Customer-Material Information
• Pricing Conditions
• Sales Orders
• Deliveries
• Billing Documents
• Open Sales Orders
• Open Deliveries
• Validate migrated data and perform source-to-target reconciliation.
• Identify and resolve data quality and migration issues.
• Coordinate with business users, data migration teams, technical teams, and integration teams.
• Support multiple migration cycles including mock migration, SIT, UAT, dress rehearsal, cutover, and production migration.
• Develop migration templates, functional specifications, mapping documents, test cases, and reconciliation reports.
• Support integration between SD and other S/4HANA modules including FI, MM, and EWM.
• Participate in defect resolution and root-cause analysis related to migration and SD processes.
• Support cutover planning, data validation, and post-go-live activities.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of SAP SD experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA SD.
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC).
• Hands-on experience with Syniti Data Migration / Syniti ADM.
• Experience with SAP data migration and transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of SD master and transactional data.
• Experience with legacy-to-S/4HANA data mapping and transformation.
• Experience with data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and error resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Customer/Vendor integration and S/4HANA Business Partner concepts.
• Experience with pricing, sales orders, deliveries, shipping, and billing.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, mock migrations, cutover, and go-live.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
