SAP S/4HANA PP/DTP Functional Consultant, Location: Remote

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP/DTP) Functional Consultant with strong experience in complex manufacturing environments, preferably Aerospace & Defense (A&D).

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• 15+ years of SAP PP/DTP functional consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Detailed Production Planning (DTP).
• Experience with MRP/MRP Live, MRP Simulation, Detailed Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Takt Time Planning, and Consumption-Based Planning.
• Strong knowledge of Make-to-Order (MTO), Engineering-to-Order (ETO), Project & Network Planning, Subcontract Manufacturing, Planned/Production Orders, and Assembly Processing.
• Experience with Material Master, BOM/Super BOM, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, and Material Substitution.
• Experience with MUPE-based planning and parameter effectivity is highly preferred.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, QM, EWM, SD, PM, SM/MRO, and SAP IBP.
• Experience conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops, business process analysis, functional design, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to create Business Process Documents (BPDs), functional specifications, process flows, and support testing activities.
• Experience with SAP Activate across Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Hypercare phases.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Signavio, and Clean Core principles is a plus.
• Experience supporting cutover, go-live, hypercare, SIT/UAT, and production validation.

Required Industry Experience

• Strong Aerospace & Defense manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience with complex assembly manufacturing, ETO/MTO, serialized manufacturing, configuration management, parameter effectivity, and highly regulated production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ years of SAP PP/DTP experience.
• 3–5 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
