SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Consultant DMC & Syniti

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC) and Syniti data migration solutions. The consultant will be responsible for supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation, data migration, integration, validation, and reconciliation activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise across SAP FI/CO and practical experience in S/4HANA data migration using DMC and Syniti.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA FI/CO implementation and migration activities.
• Configure and support SAP Finance modules including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Controlling (CO)
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Analyze existing ECC/legacy finance processes and support their transformation into SAP S/4HANA.
• Design and execute data migration strategies using SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC).
• Work extensively with Syniti for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, mapping, migration, and validation.
• Develop and maintain data mapping and transformation rules between legacy systems and S/4HANA.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation.
• Support migration of financial master and transactional data such as:
• GL Master
• Customer/Vendor/Business Partner
• Cost Centers
• Profit Centers
• Fixed Assets
• Open AR/AP Items
• GL Balances
• Cost Objects
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand finance data requirements and resolve migration issues.
• Execute migration cycles including mock conversions, SIT, UAT, dress rehearsal, and cutover.
• Perform data reconciliation between legacy systems and S/4HANA.
• Troubleshoot migration errors and coordinate with technical and functional teams for resolution.
• Support integration between SAP S/4HANA FI/CO and other SAP/non-SAP applications.
• Prepare functional specifications, mapping documents, migration templates, test scenarios, and reconciliation reports.
• Participate in cutover planning and production migration activities.
• Provide post-go-live support and resolve data-related production issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of SAP FI/CO experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC).
• Strong experience with Syniti Data Migration / Syniti ADM.
• Experience in SAP data migration and conversion projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI and CO business processes.
• Experience with legacy-to-S/4HANA data mapping and transformation.
• Strong knowledge of data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration methodologies.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Business Partner and Finance master data.
• Experience with migration of financial master and transactional data.
• Strong SQL/data analysis skills.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, mock migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
