Summary: The SAP QA Lead is responsible for leading and managing quality assurance activities for SAP implementations and upgrades. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage QA activities for SAP implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and scripts for various SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, FICO, SD, MM, etc.).
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Define and manage test environments, test data, and defect management processes.
- Oversee manual and automated testing, including integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
- Utilize tools such as SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, JIRA, or other QA/test management tools.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define quality metrics and drive quality improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members and ensure adherence to QA standards and processes.
- Provide regular status updates, test metrics, and risk assessments to project leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality policies and external regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, FDA, etc. if applicable).
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SAP QA/testing roles.
- 2+ years in a QA Lead or Test Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional QA teams and manage complex QA efforts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
