Summary: The SAP PS/PPM Data Specialist will oversee data activities for Project System (PS) and Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) within a global SAP S/4HANA implementation program for a major client in the chemical industry. This role requires acting as a key interface between IT and finance stakeholders to ensure accurate planning and budgeting data throughout the program lifecycle. The specialist will utilize the Syniti Knowledge Platform for data management and will be responsible for aligning project data with financial processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of planning, budgeting, and financial tracking data for SAP PS and PPM.
- Collaborate with PMO, Finance, and functional teams to gather requirements and validate financial data structures.
- Coordinate end-to-end data lifecycle activities using Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).
- Ensure alignment of portfolio and project data with financial processes and reporting standards.
- Support test, cutover, and post-go-live activities related to project planning and budget control data.
- Act as the primary bridge between IT and business teams for PS/PPM data topics.
Key Skills:
- Deep understanding of SAP Project System (PS) and Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) data structures and processes.
- Experience with project budgeting, planning, portfolio structuring, and financial integration.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments and financial planning best practices.
