Summary: The SAP Technical Project Manager for Quality & Food Safety will lead the Q&FS workstream within the SAP S/4HANA programme, ensuring alignment between technical builds and quality standards. This senior-level role requires managing project delivery, governance, and stakeholder engagement while overseeing external vendor deliverables. The position demands extensive experience in project management within complex global enterprises, particularly in SAP environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of SAP QM and IM modules, along with strong technical acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, maintain high-fidelity plans, and drive end-to-end Testing & Conformance activities synchronized with the S/4HANA release schedule.
- Rigorously manage and "pressure-test" Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs, oversee change control, and provide high-impact status reports.
- Lead daily Q&FS sub-workstream operations, manage external SAP Systems Integrators (SIs), and coordinate specific S/4 security and design requirements.
- Translate technical constraints into business impacts, aligning IT/Security teams, SAP workstreams, and Q&FS business subject matter experts.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of Project Management experience in medium-to-large technical or testing-focused projects in complex, global enterprises.
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP QM (Quality Management) and SAP IM (Inventory Management) modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP environments, data lifecycles (migration/governance), and analytics.
- Proficiency in advanced governance frameworks.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree and certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile (Scrum/SAFe) are highly desirable.
- Direct experience in Q&FS, FMCG, or Manufacturing within highly regulated environments.
- Prior experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA programmes.

Required Experience & Skills

SAP Mastery: Deep functional knowledge of SAP QM (Quality Management) and SAP IM (Inventory Management) modules is mandatory.
Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of SAP environments, data lifecycles (migration/governance), and analytics. (Note: Hands-on coding/configuration is not required).
