Summary: The SAP Project Manager will lead a combined Business and IT project for the expansion and integration of SAP Supply Chain and Manufacturing systems. This role involves managing resources, overseeing project status and budget, and ensuring adherence to project timelines while driving business change control and IT validation activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP project management and MES integration, particularly within the Pharma/Biotech sectors. Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills are essential for interfacing with various levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a combined Business and IT project manager for SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing expansion and integration project
- Manage resources and tasks to timelines across internal SAP IT team, Support Vendor functional and technical SAP consultants, IT validation lead, internal IT Quality and business.
- Project status and budget management including status reporting; organization and leadership of project steering committee meetings
- Oversee and drive business change control as well as IT validation activities
- Oversee and drive required business and scope decisions to ensure workable business processes, appropriate system design and adherence to required project timelines
- Overview of Technical Scope
- Integration with MES application utilizing standard SAP IDoc message type integration based on existing integration with other MES applications
- New process and integration design to account for additional MES system within one plant (integration with one MES system is already live for parts of the plant and production)
- Supporting SAP functional configuration to account for additional manufacturing suites / buildings and the correlated required business processes
Key Skills:
- SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing project management experience required (or equivalent ERP/application environment)
- Experience with MES integration implementation with SAP, experience with Pharma/Biotech processes, and GxP/CSV projects strongly desired.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills required - experienced with interfacing with business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization from individual contributor to senior leadership.
