Summary: The SAP PLM Consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Product Lifecycle Management solutions, with a focus on Document Management and WWI Reporting. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure effective project delivery. The consultant will also be tasked with testing, training, and ongoing support of the SAP PLM system. Occasional travel within the EU is expected, but the role is primarily remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workshops and interviews to gather and analyze requirements related to Document Management and Product Change Management.
- Document business requirements and create functional specifications.
- Design and configure SAP PLM modules to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation and perform testing.
- Implement Document Management into Product Change Management processes.
- Develop test plans and conduct user acceptance testing.
- Provide ongoing support for SAP PLM Document Management and troubleshoot system issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an SAP PLM Functional Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of SAP PLM modules, including Document Management and Product Change Management.
- Experience with DMS in SAP PLM.
- Understanding of document management processes, ideally for medical devices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PLM is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for product life cycle management.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in relevant industries.
