Summary: The SAP PI/PO Middleware Administrator is tasked with the administration, configuration, monitoring, and support of the SAP PI/PO Middleware landscape, ensuring seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems. This role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP PI/PO systems, as well as troubleshooting and managing interface deployments. Candidates must possess active security clearances and have extensive experience in SAP PI. The position can be performed remotely or from Aberdeen, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, monitor, and support the SAP PI/PO Middleware landscape.
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP PI/PO systems including adapters, integration engine, and communication channels.
- Monitor and troubleshoot PI/PO interfaces, message flows, and system performance issues.
- Manage interface deployments, configure integration points, and test end-to-end interfaces.
- Coordinate PI full life cycle implementations from preparation to go-live and operation.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of SAP PI experience.
- Experience with PI Design, PI Mapping/Code development, PI Configuration, and PI System Monitoring.
- Proficiency in ABAP, JAVA, and Oracle coding.
- Experience with PI Integration with ECC, BW, VANS, CAMS, and Oracle.
- Knowledge of EDI X12, DLMS, MILS, and Flat File Translation.
- Familiarity with adapter and protocol knowledge including Unix, Web Services, sFTP, FTP, SeeBurger, and i-Way CICS.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

This role plays a critical part in the enabling seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems through the design, deployment, and maintenance of integration scenarios and interfaces. Key responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP PI/PO systems including adapters, integration engine, and communication channels. The roles require the administrator to monitor and troubleshoot PI/PO interfaces, message flows, and system performance issues and also mange interface deployments, configure integration points, and test end to end interfaces.
Required:
- 5+ years of SAP PI experience
- Experience supporting the following: PI Design, PI Mapping/Code development, PI Configuration, PI System Monitoring, Troubleshooting PI, Improving PI System Performance
- Experience developing code with the following: ABAP, JAVA, Oracle
- Experience supporting PI Integration with: ECC, BW, VANS, CAMS, Oracle
- Experience with one or more of the following: EDI X12, DLMS, MILS, Flat File Translation
- Experience with adapter and protocol knowledge with one or more of the following: Unix, Web Services, sFTP, FTP, SeeBurger, i-Way CICS
