SAP PEO - Manufacturing Specialist

Summary: The SAP PEO Manufacturing Specialist is tasked with implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA PEO solutions in a manufacturing context. This role serves as a crucial link between engineering and production, ensuring effective translation of product lifecycle data into shop floor operations. The position requires extensive experience in manufacturing operations and SAP implementations, particularly in regulated industries. The specialist will also manage data accuracy and support various project initiatives related to SAP PEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure SAP S/4HANA PEO module to support production engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Integrate product lifecycle management (PLM) with manufacturing execution.
• Translate engineering bills of material (eBOM) to manufacturing bills of material (mBOM).
• Set up and manage production routings, work centers, and shop floor controls in SAP.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to align SAP PEO functionality with business requirements.
• Manage master data and ensure accuracy across the engineering and production domains.
• Support change management and release processes for product and process data.
• Create and maintain configuration documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide day-to-day support for SAP PEO users.
• Lead or support SAP PEO project initiatives, rollouts, and upgrades.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's Engineering / Manufacturing / Computer Science
• 10+ years in manufacturing operations, engineering, or SAP implementations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PEO and - PP, PLM, ME, MII, EWM.
• Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing, especially in highly regulated industries.
• Experience working with eBOM to mBOM transformation, routing creation, shop floor execution.
• Familiarity with SAP Visual Enterprise, SAP Manufacturing Execution (SAP ME), or Teamcenter/SAP interfaces is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate or Agile methodologies.
• SAP certification in S/4HANA Manufacturing or SAP PEO.
• Experience with digital manufacturing tools and model-based definition (MBD)
