Summary: The SAP PCS Lead role focuses on providing expertise in SAP ECC Production Planning, specifically in areas such as Work Centers, Bill of Materials, Routings, and Production Orders execution. The position requires extensive experience in Production Control & Scheduling (PCS) and involves managing requirements gathering, configuration, and documentation processes. The consultant will also be responsible for planning workshops and ensuring effective integration with PLM and MES systems. This is a remote position aimed at candidates with a strong background in SAP production planning methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- MBoM, Routing and Shop Floor Execution as per SAP Best Practice
- Work Stream requirement gathering with business process owners to fill in the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire
- Plan/build Workshop A (System Demo and Presentation Deck) based on assessment answers
- Requirements Management
- Configuration and Documentation
- Key Decision Documentation
- Process Flows
- Authorization and Security
- Test planning (Standard and Custom objects)
- Change Management
- Reporting
- S/4 Experience
- A&D Experience
- Parameter Effectivity (integration to PLM and MES) - We will train, not mandatory

- Work Centers, BoMs and Routings Revision & ECM
- Production Order Lifecycle (Creation to Confirmation to Goods Receipt) including Collective Orders for MTS and MTO with WBS
- External Processing with Subcontracting
- Production Order Kitting
- Goods Issues (batch managed) and Reversals for Production Order
- Rework and Production Order Splitting
- Availability Checking and Shortage reporting
- Integration with PLM systems
- Integration with MES systems
- Functional specification authoring
Key Skills:
