Sap payroll Consultant

Summary: The SAP Payroll Consultant role requires a minimum of five years of experience in SAP HCM payroll or equivalent systems, focusing on translating customer design requirements into SAP payroll engine configurations. The consultant will manage payroll processes, resolve complex issues, and collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize payroll operations. This fully remote position allows candidates from the EU or UK to apply, with a day rate of €400-450, classified as inside IR35 for UK candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical expert for SuccessFactors (SAP’s Cloud Payroll solution ECP).
• Translate business requirements into system requirements and design specifications.
• Manage changes to existing SuccessFactors configurations and integrations.
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues.
• Collaborate with teams for system upgrades and enhancements.
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for global IT initiatives.
• Drive adoption and optimization of SuccessFactors functionalities.
• Partner with business teams to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners for efficient configurations.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a functional analyst for SAP HCM payroll/ECP or equivalent.
• In-depth payroll process knowledge, especially for UK, Ireland, and EU countries.
• Strong understanding of integration between ECP, Employee Central, SAP ECC, and non-SAP systems.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex data and processes.
• Good understanding of Employee Life Cycle Management in global organizations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Proactive, independent, and a team player.
