Summary: We are looking for a skilled SAP MDG Support Senior Consultant with extensive experience in SAP Master Data Governance and Management. The role involves maintaining the MDG platform, resolving related issues, and ensuring the quality of master data across the organization. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business users and data stewards to enforce data governance policies and support MDM initiatives. This position is fully remote based in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 support for SAP MDG solutions across master data domains (e.g., Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance).
  • Manage incident resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions in the MDG landscape.
  • Monitor workflows, data quality rules, and change requests for performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business users and data stewards to ensure data governance policies and processes are enforced.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, issue resolution, and system configurations.
  • Support MDM initiatives including data standardization, enrichment, and data lifecycle management.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP MDG / MDM in a support or functional consultant role.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MDG components: data models, change requests, workflows, BRF+, and data replication.
  • Hands-on experience in handling data objects such as Business Partner (BP), Material Master, and Financial Master Data.
  • Solid understanding of MDM principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality best practices.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving MDG system and data issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Fluent in English and/or Spanish (spoken and written) – required for daily interactions with global stakeholders.
