• Design, develop, and support SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
• Develop MDG/UI components including FPM / Floorplan Manager enhancements and related UI configuration as needed
• Understanding of Finance master data concepts and impacts to downstream Finance processes (GL close, reporting, compliance).
• Experience integrating MDG with S/4HANA and/or ECC, and external systems (MDM, data warehouse, CRM
• Knowledge of SAP FICO processes (AP/AR, GL, cost centers, profit centers, company codes) and data dependencies

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions with emphasis on Finance-related master data (e.g., Business Partner, Customer/Vendor, Financial master data objects as applicable).
• Build and enhance MDG data models, staging/active area structures, and governance processes (change requests, workflow, validations, derivations).
• Develop and maintain BRF+ rules (validations, derivations, defaulting, decision tables) aligned to Finance policies and internal controls.
• Configure and support MDG workflows (including approvals, exception handling, and audit trail requirements).Integrate MDG with upstream/downstream systems via DRF replication, including monitoring and troubleshooting replication failures.
• Develop MDG/UI components including FPM / Floorplan Manager enhancements and related UI configuration as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to define data standards, approval hierarchies, segregation of duties considerations, and governance KPIs.
• Support testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT), assist with cutover planning, and provide production support.
• Document technical specifications, functional/technical design, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG development/configuration (MDG-F / finance-related MDG work strongly preferred).
• Strong experience with ABAP (including enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, and debugging in an MDG context).
• Strong experience with BRF+ (rules for validation/derivation and workflow-related logic).
• Experience with MDG Change Request processes, data quality checks, and governance workflows.
• Experience with DRF / replication frameworks and integration troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Finance master data concepts and impacts to downstream Finance processes (GL close, reporting, compliance).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• SAP MDG domain experience with Business Partner (Customer/Vendor), including CVI/BP concepts depending on landscape.
• Experience integrating MDG with S/4HANA and/or ECC, and external systems (MDM, data warehouse, CRM).
• Knowledge of SAP FICO processes (AP/AR, GL, cost centers, profit centers, company codes) and data dependencies.
• Experience with data quality tools/approaches, governance councils, stewardship models, and SOX-minded controls.
• Familiarity with SAP security concepts related to governance (roles/authorizations, approvals).
