Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of SAP IS-U solutions supporting core utility business processes.
• Provide technical and functional leadership across SAP IS-U modules and integrations.
• Assess existing SAP architecture and recommend scalable solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Partner with business, application, integration, data, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into solution designs.
• Define architecture patterns, technical standards, interfaces, and integration approaches across the SAP ecosystem.
• Support solution design across areas such as customer management, billing, invoicing, device/meter processes, and utility master data.
• Evaluate dependencies between SAP IS-U and surrounding enterprise platforms and applications.
• Provide technical oversight throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and performance considerations and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation, solution designs, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with SAP IS-U / SAP for Utilities in large enterprise environments.
• Strong SAP solution architecture experience, ideally supporting electric, gas, or other utility organizations.
• Deep understanding of SAP IS-U architecture, data models, business processes, and integrations.
• Experience designing integrations between SAP and enterprise applications/platforms.
• Strong understanding of utility customer, billing, meter, and service-related processes.
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation, modernization, or implementation programs.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently in a complex enterprise environment.

Preferred

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities and/or SAP modernization programs.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, APIs, middleware, and modern integration patterns.
• Experience within a large regulated energy or utilities organization.
