Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) & IS-Retail Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of retail solutions on SAP. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in retail business processes, POS data integration, and real-time analytics within the SAP retail ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure SAP CAR modules including POS DTA, Omni-Channel Article Availability (OAA), and Promotion Management
- Support end-to-end SAP IS-Retail implementations covering merchandising, assortment planning, and store operations
- Integrate CAR with SAP HANA, POS systems, and downstream retail applications
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional/technical specifications
- Troubleshoot data replication issues between POS/DTA and CAR
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, WM/EWM) for retail process alignment
- Support UAT, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP CAR (POS DTA, OAA, Promotion, Demand Data Foundation)
- Solid understanding of SAP IS-Retail (Merchandise Management, Article Master, Site Master)
- Experience with SAP HANA/S4HANA Retail environment
- Knowledge of POS interface and retail data integration
- Strong analytical and client communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in CAR/IS-Retail
- Experience in full lifecycle retail implementations
- Exposure to S/4HANA Retail for merchandise management
